GLVWG's biggest event is its annual conference, The Write Stuff, when more than 100 writers from around eastern Pennsylvania and across the country (Florida! Vegas! upstate New York!) join to network, learn, and have a blast with some exceptional presenters.

This year's (2012) conference will feature James Scott Bell as keynote speaker, as well as pitch sessions to agents and editors, many presentations and workshops by knowledgeable industry professionals.  Friday night will include  "Page Cuts," instant critique of your work by agents, editors, and writers, as well as a mixer where you can schmooze and get to know your fellow attendees as well as those same agents and editors.  

On Thursday and Friday, March 15th and 16th, there will be two pre-conference workshops. James Scott Bell will be offering his 1 1/2 day workshop, "Novel and Screenwriting Intensive,"  Gayle Roper will do a Friday afternoon workshop "10 Crucial Questions to Ask Yourself About Your Novel."  (The pre-con workshops are at additional charge and require separate registration.)
